Bangkok, City of the Angels
Monument erected in 1941 as memorial to the Thai victory over the French in a border dispute the year before. Great place for grabbing a bus to various parts outside the city. Also shopping center catering mainly to Thai white collar workers and students. Some great bargains here and its right on the Skytrain system.

The business hub of the city. Very modern and pristine area, also on the Skytrain route.
